Schumacher Sets The Pace In Second China GP Practice! April 13, 2012
Michael Schumacher finished the second practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix on top as Mercedes continued to gain a significant advantage form its unique DRS system. Schumacher's time of 1:35.973 was 0.172s faster than FP1 pace-setter Lewis Hamilton even though the McLaren was quicker than the Mercedes in the first two sectors of the lap. On the long straight in the third sector Schumacher clawed back enough time with the Mercedes' impressive top speed to set the fastest time overall.

Lewis Hamilton On Malaysian Grand Prix! March 26, 2012
Lewis Hamilton saw his chances of winning the rain-hit Malaysian Grand Prix flushed down the drain. The McLaren driver started on pole after a brilliant qualifying session and was leading the race in Sepang until the heavens opened. The rain forced a 51-minute delay but it was an unfortunate pitstop on lap 14 which dampened his day. Lewis Hamilton was forced to wait for Ferrari's Felipe Massa as the pit lane became congested due to tyre changes, which allowed eventual winner Fernando Alonso to move ahead.

With Jenson Button heading Lewis Hamilton at the top of the timesheets, McLaren made the best possible start to the 2012 season by claiming a 1-2 in the first Formula1 Practice at Australian GP.
